Tour Itinerary: 3 Days from Marrakech to Fez
Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
We’ll meet you at your accommodation in Tangier to begin the journey to Chefchaouen. The route passes through Tetouan, with its white houses scattered across the hills, and continues through the picturesque Rif Mountains, known for their lush green landscapes.
Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, you’ll enjoy lunch at a traditional local restaurant before embarking on a guided tour of the famous Blue City with a local guide. After the tour, you’ll be transferred to your riad for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tour of Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we’ll begin a guided tour of Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most charming and photogenic cities. We’ll stroll through the blue medina, learning about the city’s history and the cultural significance behind its unique colors.
We will visit Uta el-Hammam Square, the town’s main square, and explore the historic Kasbah, which offers a glimpse into Chefchaouen’s past along with panoramic views of the medina. We will then continue on to the local markets, where handicrafts, textiles, and regional products are on display.
The afternoon is free for you to enjoy the city at your own pace: relax at a café, explore the hidden corners of the medina, or walk to nearby viewpoints overlooking the Rif Mountains. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Tangie
After breakfast, we’ll leave Chefchaouen and begin our return trip to Tangier. We’ll enjoy the scenic drive through the Rif Mountains, with plenty of opportunities to admire the natural landscapes of northern Morocco.
You are scheduled to arrive in Tangier in the afternoon, where you will be transferred to your hotel, the port, or the airport, marking the end of the tour.

Does this tour end in Tangier? Can you drop me off at the airport or the port?
Yes, the tour ends in Tangier on the afternoon of the 3rd. We’ll drop you off wherever you need: your hotel, Tangier Airport (TNG), or the port to catch the ferry to Tarifa or Algeciras. Just let us know.
How long does the trip from Tangier to Chefchaouen take?
About two and a half hours, with a stop in Tetouan to explore the city. The route is very scenic, winding through the Rif Mountains with lush, mountainous landscapes.
What will we see in Tetouan?
We’ll stop to explore the center of Tetouan, known as “the daughter of Granada” because of its Al-Andalus heritage. You’ll see its white medina, its clean streets, and its atmosphere, which is quite different from that of other Moroccan cities.
Is it worth spending a whole night in Chefchaouen?
Absolutely. Chefchaouen is magical in the evening when the lights go out and early in the morning before the tourists arrive. If you spend a full night there, you’ll be able to enjoy the authentic atmosphere of the Blue City at a leisurely pace.
What are the guided tours like in Chefchaouen?
On Day 1, you’ll meet your local guide upon arrival. On Day 2, after breakfast, we’ll take a more in-depth tour: Uta el-Hammam Square, the Kasbah, the most photogenic spots, and the craft market. Then you’ll have the whole afternoon free to wander through the blue-painted streets.
Is it a tour with a lot of walking or is there time to relax?
This is a very relaxed tour. There are only two short drives: Tangier to Chefchaouen (Day 1) and Chefchaouen to Tangier (Day 3). The entire second day is set aside for exploring Chefchaouen on your own after the guided tour. It’s perfect for unwinding.
What does accommodation in Chefchaouen include?
Two nights in a riad, including breakfast. Dinner on Day 1 is also included. Dinner on Day 2 is not included, so you’re free to choose where to dine in Chefchaouen.
