Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Day 2: Guided Tour of Marrakech
After breakfast, start your day with an official local guide who will introduce you to Marrakech’s most iconic sites. Day 3: Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Gorges of the Dades
After breakfast, we leave Marrakech and head up into the High Atlas Mountains, passing through traditional Berber villages and taking in breathtaking mountain scenery. We reach Tizi n’Tichka, Morocco’s highest drivable mountain pass at 2,260 meters, where panoramic views of the peaks and valleys await us.
We head down to the famous Ksar Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for films such as *Gladiator* and *Prince of Persia*. After a lunch break, we continue on to Ouarzazate, Morocco’s film capital, passing through the lush palm groves of Skoura and entering the Dades Valley.
We stop in Kelaat M’gouna, the “Valley of Roses,” where fragrant roses are grown and harvested for perfumes and essential oils. In the late afternoon, we drive up through the Dades Gorges, a dramatic landscape of red cliffs and winding roads, and spend the night surrounded by its natural beauty.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Merzouga (Desert)
We start the day with an early breakfast in the Dades Valley before setting off through the rugged Anti-Atlas Mountains and their stunning, almost lunar landscapes. We stop in Alnif and continue through the charming Berber villages of Tinghir before arriving at the spectacular Todra Gorges, a narrow canyon that marks the edge of the Sahara.
We drive through more traditional villages and stop for lunch in Tinjdad or Rissani. In the afternoon, we meet up with our camel caravan and ride toward the golden sands of Erg Chebbi, watching as the sun slowly paints the dunes in shades of gold and orange.
We arrived at our desert camp, an oasis of peace in the heart of the dunes. We enjoyed a traditional Berber dinner, listened to the rhythms of local drums, and marveled at the star-filled desert sky. We spent the night at the Sahara camp—an unforgettable experience in the heart of the dunes.

Day 5: Exploring the Merzouga Desert in a 4x4
We start the day early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara, when the desert comes to life with shifting colors and complete silence. After breakfast, we ride back on camels to meet our 4×4 driver and begin our desert exploration adventure.
We visit Khamlia, a small village inhabited by descendants of Sudanese slaves, where we can enjoy a moving performance of Gnaoua music—a unique cultural experience. We explore the surrounding desert landscapes, taking in the dunes, palm groves, and traditional Berber life along the way.

Day 6: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez
After breakfast, we depart from Merzouga and head north toward Morocco. The road passes through Rissani and follows the lush Ziz Valley, known for its extensive palm groves. Continuing through the Middle Atlas Mountains, the route passes through Midelt and then the cedar forests near Azrou, where Barbary macaques are often spotted. We make a stop in Ifrane, famous for its Alpine-style architecture.

Yes, the tour ends in Tangier on the 8th. It’s the perfect way to explore Morocco from south to north without backtracking. You can catch your return flight from Tangier or continue on to Spain (by ferry from Tarifa or Algeciras).
Can I start in Tangier and end in Marrakech?
Yes, the tour can also be done in reverse: starting in Tangier and ending in Marrakech. Just let us know, and we’ll be happy to adjust the itinerary for you.
How do I manage my luggage if the tour doesn't return to Marrakech?
Bring all your luggage with you on the tour. We recommend traveling with a medium-sized suitcase or a comfortable backpack to make transfers and the camel ride easier. There is no place to leave your belongings in Marrakech.
What does the guided tour in Marrakech include?
On Day 2, you’ll take a tour with an official local guide that includes the main sights: the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the Medina. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore on your own.

We arrived in Chefchaouen on the afternoon of the 7th and spent the night there. On the 8th, you’ll have the morning free to explore the blue streets, take photos, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere before heading to Tangier.
Does the tour include all dinners
Dinners are included in Chefchaouen, Erg Chebbi (camp), and Dades. The remaining dinners are not included, but your guide can recommend good restaurants based on your budget and preferences.

No. The camels are gentle, and the ride is smooth. Our guide will help you get on. You’ll enjoy the sunset over the dunes without any trouble. It’s an experience suitable for everyone.
