What is a 4x4 desert tour like?
After breakfast, you’ll take a tour in an off-road vehicle through the dunes, fossil sites, and desert villages. The tour includes a visit to nomads to learn about their traditional way of life. A unique and authentic experience.
Is it safe to visit nomadic families?
Yes, absolutely. These are Berber families who live in the desert seasonally and are used to having visitors. We always go with our local guide, who knows the area and the families. It’s a respectful and enriching experience.
What is sandboarding? Do I need experience?
It’s like snowboarding, but on sand dunes. No experience is necessary—it’s easy and fun. Our guide will give you some basic instructions, and you’ll be able to glide smoothly down the easiest dunes.
Is the pace very intense, or is there time to relax?
The pace is relaxed and balanced. There are days spent on the road with stops along the way, but also free time to walk around, take photos, or simply enjoy the scenery. Day 3 is more leisurely and focused on experiencing the desert.
