Day 1: Marrakech – Arrival and Welcome
Upon your arrival at the Marrakech airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to the riad or hotel where you will spend your first night. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have some free time to start exploring the city on your own: get lost in the labyrinthine souks of the medina, feel the pulse of the fascinating Jemaa el-Fna Square, or enjoy your first Moroccan dinner at a charming restaurant. Day 2: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Valley of the Roses – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we’ll head south, making our way into the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass. You’ll enjoy scenic stops and the sight of Berber villages that seem frozen in time.
We’ll take a guided tour of the legendary Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its mud-brick architecture and for serving as the setting for countless films. The road then takes us to Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert,” before continuing on to the fragrant Valley of Roses, known for its rose fields and artisanal products.
In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive at the spectacular Dades Valley, where a traditional dinner and a restful night await you in a cozy riad or hotel, surrounded by impressive rock formations.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, we leave the Dades behind and head toward Tinghir to visit one of the most impressive natural wonders of the south: the Todra Gorge. You’ll be able to walk among its imposing canyon walls, carved by the river over thousands of years.
We continue through desert landscapes and oases dotted with palm trees, passing through Erfoud, a town famous for its fossils and extensive palm groves. In the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, at the foot of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight stay at a riad or hotel near the dunes, so you can rest up before the great desert adventure.

Day 4: Merzouga – Camel Ride – Berber Camp
Today is all about experiencing the magic of the Sahara. After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll have free time or can participate in optional activities in the area around Merzouga.
In the late afternoon, one of the most special moments of the trip will begin: a camel ride that will slowly take us into the heart of the dunes, just in time to watch the sunset over the desert. We’ll arrive at our Berber camp, where we’ll be welcomed with traditional desert hospitality.
The evening includes a delicious Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a peaceful night under an endless blanket of stars, sleeping in a private tent equipped with everything you need for your comfort.

Day 5: Merzouga – Return to Marrakech – Transfer to the Airport
After breakfast in the desert (and if you’re up for an early start, you can enjoy an unforgettable sunrise over the dunes), we’ll begin our return journey to Marrakech. The route will take us through ever-changing landscapes as we bid farewell to southern Morocco.
Upon arrival in the city, we’ll transfer you directly to Marrakech Airport well in advance of your flight, marking the end of your unforgettable 5-day tour of the Merzouga Desert.
Note: Due to the long return distance, we recommend booking flights departing after 8:00 PM or, ideally, the following day to enjoy the trip without rushing.

Can we customize the itinerary?

What kind of transportation do we use?
A private 4×4 vehicle, minivan, or air-conditioned minibus, depending on the size of the group. A driver and fuel are always included. Travel in comfort and without any worries.
What is a night like at the desert camp?
You’ll arrive by camel at sunset. A Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a night in a private tent await you. The camp has restrooms and hot showers. Magical and authentic.
Do I need experience to ride a camel?
None. The camels are calm, and the ride is smooth. Our guide will help you mount the camel and accompany the group. It’s the perfect way to experience the desert without rushing or taking any risks.
Will we make it to the airport in time for our flight on the last day?
Important: On the 5th, we’ll travel from Merzouga to Marrakech (9–10 hours). We’ll arrive in the afternoon. We recommend flights departing at 8:00 PM or later, or better yet, the following day. Please contact us to confirm flight times.
Can we leave our large luggage in Marrakech?
Yes. You can leave your suitcase at the riad in Marrakech (where you’ll be staying the first night) and just bring a small backpack for the days you’ll be on the road. It’s more comfortable for the trip and the camel ride.
Is it suitable for childre or the elderly?
Yes, the pace is relaxed with frequent stops. The camel ride is gentle, but if anyone would rather not ride, they can ride in the support vehicle while the group rides the camels. Please let us know in advance.
