Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
Upon your arrival at the port or airport of Tangier, our team will welcome you to begin the journey towards the Blue City. The route passes through the green foothills of the Rif, with a first stop in Tetouan, a city with strong Andalusian influence and a well-preserved historic center.
We continue to Chefchaouen, one of the most beautiful towns in Morocco, nestled at the foot of the mountains. Its medina, with streets painted in shades of blue and a Spanish-style square, invites you to get lost among artisan workshops and charming corners. Accommodation in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
We leave Chefchaouen behind to venture into the historical heart of Morocco. First stop: Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman archaeological site in the country. Its mosaics, columns, and arches evoke the grandeur of a city that prospered two thousand years ago.
The route then takes us to Meknes, the imperial city of the 17th century. Its monumental walls, the majestic Bab Mansour, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail speak of the splendor of the Alaouite dynasty. In the afternoon, arrival in Fez, where a traditional riad awaits us for the night.

Day 3: Tour of the Medina of Fez
A full day dedicated to Fez, the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. Accompanied by a licensed local guide, we immerse ourselves in the medina of Fez el-Bali, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its labyrinthine alleyways preserve centuries of history around every corner.
We visit madrasas decorated with intricate plasterwork, the traditional souks where everything from spices to silks is traded, and the famous tanneries, where leather craftsmanship has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Cedar Forest – Erfoud – Sahara Desert
Early departure from Fez heading south. We cross the Middle Atlas, where Ifrane surprises visitors with its alpine rooftops and European-style avenues. Further on, the cedar forests of Azrou offer the spectacle of Barbary macaques jumping between the branches.
The landscape gradually transforms. After Midelt, we enter the Ziz Valley, a strip of palm groves contrasting with the surrounding arid terrain. We pass through Errachidia and the spectacular Ziz Gorge before reaching Erfoud. By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, where dinner and accommodation await us in a desert lodge or riad.

Day 5: Exploring the Merzouga Desert (4x4) and Camel Ride
The desert reveals itself in all its diversity. Aboard a 4×4 vehicle, we venture into the dunes and rocky plains surrounding Merzouga. We visit a Gnawa community to discover their music and traditions, and share a moment with nomadic families who still inhabit these lands.
We continue towards Rissani, former capital of the Alaouite dynasty, where its traditional souk and caravan history are well worth a visit. In the afternoon comes the highlight of the day: a camel ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi just in time to admire the sunset. Arrival at the camp, where a Berber dinner, music, and a night beneath a star-filled sky await us.

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Sunrise over the dunes. The light paints the sand in golden tones as the desert awakens. After breakfast at the camp, we return to Merzouga to continue the journey north.
Our next stop is the Todra Gorges, a canyon with vertical walls rising more than 300 meters. A walk along the riverbed allows us to appreciate the scale of this natural wonder. In the afternoon, we arrive in the Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations and winding roads. Accommodation in a hotel with views over the valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Aït Ben Haddou – Marrakech
We depart from the Dades Valley crossing the Valley of the Roses, with a stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, the center of rose production in Morocco. We continue towards Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, where we can visit some of its kasbahs or film studios.
The highlight of the day is Aït Ben Haddou, the best-preserved ksar in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its mud-brick alleys have been the setting for countless films. After the visit, we ascend the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m), with panoramic stops before descending to Marrakech. Arrival in the evening and accommodation in a riad.

Day 8: Marrakech – Guided Tour of the Medina
Full-day excursion to discover Marrakech, the Red City. Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech

What is the 4x4 desert tour like on day 5?
