Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat | Exploring the Capital
Upon your arrival at Casablanca Airport, our team will welcome you to begin the tour with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most impressive in the world. After the visit, we will head to Rabat, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours along the Atlantic coast.
On arrival in Morocco’s capital, we will visit the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, two of the most iconic monuments in the city. Overnight stay in a charming riad or hotel in Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat – Ouazzane – Chefchaouen | On the way to the Blue City
After breakfast, we depart from Rabat towards northern Morocco, traveling through picturesque landscapes and traditional towns of the Rif region. We will pass through Ouazzane, a city known for its religious heritage and its authentic Moroccan atmosphere.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
After breakfast, you will enjoy free time in Chefchaouen to explore its charming blue streets at your own pace. You can visit Uta El Hammam Square, the heart of the medina, and stroll through the Ancient Medina, surrounded by the Rif Mountains.
Later, we will depart for Volubilis, the most important Roman archaeological site in Morocco and a World Heritage Site. We will explore its well-preserved mosaics, ancient columns, and ruins of the Roman Empire amid olive groves.

Day 4: Fez | Guided Tour of the Medina
After breakfast, we begin a guided tour of Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco and a World Heritage Site. We will walk through its narrow alleys and lively streets, discovering centuries of history and craftsmanship.
The tour begins at the impressive Royal Palace Gate, followed by a visit to the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), the first of its kind in Morocco, dating back to the 14th century. We continue to the heart of the medina to explore the University of Al Qaraouiyine, recognized as the oldest university in the world, as well as the famous Chouara Tannery and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II.

Day 5: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga | Heading to the Sahara
After breakfast, we depart south from Fes towards the Merzouga Sahara Desert, crossing the picturesque Middle Atlas Mountains. The route passes through Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, and Azrou, home to the famous Cedar Forest, where we will stop to observe the Barbary macaques.
We continue through changing landscapes and traditional Berber villages until we reach Midelt, with lunch in the nearby town of Zaida. In the afternoon, we travel through Errachidia and the lush Ziz Valley, lined with palm groves and ancestral kasbahs.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes, you will enjoy a brief rest before starting a camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Ride over the golden dunes at sunset and reach your camp, where a traditional dinner, Berber music, and an unforgettable night in a nomad tent under the stars await you.

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

We continue our journey through Rissani and Tinghir until we reach the spectacular Todra Gorges, the most impressive canyon in Morocco. We will enjoy free time to walk among its towering rock walls and have lunch in the gorge.
In the afternoon, we will travel through the picturesque Dades Valley, famous for its kasbahs and the unique rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers.” Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel overlooking the valley.

How do I handle my luggage during the camel ride?
On the 5th, when you arrive in Merzouga, you’ll leave your large suitcase in the vehicle. You’ll only carry a small backpack with the essentials for the night at the camp (warm clothes, camera, toiletries). The vehicle will be waiting for you the next day with all your luggage intact.
Will we make it in time to catch our flight on the 9th in Casablanca?
On the 9th, you’ll leave Marrakech in the morning and head to Casablanca (about 2 hours and 30 minutes on the highway). We recommend:

Flights after 2:00 p.m. so you can take your time.

If your flight leaves very early, we recommend spending the night before in Casablanca (not included, but we can help you make the reservation).
